You are able to get the residence permit in Portugal and freely travel in Europe selecting one of 3 options:
a) Investing more than 500.000 Euro in Real Estate (can be several properties, residential or business
b) Depositing more than 1.000.000 Euro in a Portuguese Bank account, or even shares in some company)
c) Opening a company with more than 10 permanent employees.
After 6 years you are entitled to get Nationality and Portuguese Passport.
Every 2 years you are requested to be in Portugal for a minimum of 14 days and (7 days in the first year).
